Chris gives me excellent advice and support in marathon and half marathon run planning. He responds quickly and I rely on his valuable support and opinion. His knowledge of running is excellent and we trust the work he delivers. Chris is consistent, thorough, measured and a man of his word.

I’ve been going to Moor To Sea’s circuit training since they began to get myself into some sort of shape before it’s too late.
I find Chris a very professional trainer, who explains and demonstrates all exercises very simply and clearly.
Each week there are always different exercises put in so it never gets too tedious.
Chris is very enthusiastic and encouraging, making exercising almost enjoyable.
I have also been on some of the Exmoor trail running sessions which are always very exhilarating with stunning scenery and sometimes testing weather conditions!!!
Chris always has a well thought out route to suit the conditions of the day.
If you want to get fit and enjoy the moors I can’t think of a more pleasurable way of doing it. Well done Moor to Sea.

I have trained with Chris for nearly two years now and in that time I have noticed a significant change in my performance. I have gone from a half marathon being my furthest distance that I have run to competing in four ultra marathons, two of which I was placed in. He built a training plan, which was manageable and fitted into my somewhat difficult schedule. He is extremely knowledgeable and offered challenge, support and guidance the whole way.
The sessions with Chris have been great for me, noticing a difference in fitness/ strength in a matter of weeks. Chris has giving me the knowledge to exercise safely without injury. Sessions are varied and kept interesting but most of all, Chris is also very flexible with times and days, to suit both him and myself.
